Benue Assembly Passes Public Complaints And Anti Commission Bill Into Law.

Benue State House of Assembly, has passed into law, the public complaints and anti corruption commission law 2025.
The bill was passed after scaling a third reading on the floor during a plenary presided over by the Honourable Speaker, Rt. Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga, Qs.
The passage of the bill follows a recent public hearing convened by the house at the assembly complex which brought together critical stakeholders and sector players to provide insight and feedback on the proposed agency.
With the passage, the law will not only regulate the private and public lives but also place Benue State on the global map as one of the States that has taken a bold step in the war against corruption.
While appreciating members for their robust contributions on the bill, the Honourable Speaker emphasized that the APC-led administration of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia in Benue State is determined to fight corruption head-on, noting that when signed, the Bill will strengthen accountability, promote justice and restore public confidence in governance.
