Fed commissioner Charges Staff on Commitment, Competence As PCC Conducts Promotion Exams

Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission in Benue State, Chief James Oche, has charged staff of the Commission to embrace absolute commitment and competence in the discharge of their duties, saying achieving an egalitarian Nigeria is not negotiable. 

Chief Oche gave the charge while  supervising conduct of promotion examinations for staff across different departments of the commission.

The federal commissioner spoke through a statement  issued by the commission's Head of Information and Publicity, Orhemba Akura Charles and  made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Thursday. 

According to the statement, a total of 73 eligible staff in the Makurdi Office were eligible for the examination, with Oche as Chief Examiner who was assisted by the Director of Investigation, Mr. Kpaakpa Terkura. 

Chief Oche insisted on unwavering commitment and competence in the discharge of duties so as to enhance efficient service delivery in accordance with the renewed focus on work ethics by the Chief Commissioner, Hon. Bashir Abubakar. 

The promotion exam, which was conducted simultaneously across the 36 states and the FCT, is said to be a mandatory step for staff advancement and capacity building within the Commission.
