House of reps aspirant donates over N1m for police post construction

People's Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the House of Representatives in Ado/ Okpokwu/ Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Barr. Aida Nath Ogwuche has donated N1.1 million towards the construction of Adiga Police Post in Okpokwu Local Government Area of  Benue State.

 

She made the donation at during unveiled of ₦50 million development project geared towards the construction of the Adiga Police Post in Okpokwu Local Government Area of the State organised by Al’Attah National Development Forum in Abuja at the weekend.

 

With the police post serving as a central hub for community policing and security outfit, Barr. Aida Nath Ogwuche maintained that the donation will not only aids in the physical construction but also symbolises a broader commitment to community growth and security.

 

The aspirant expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to support such a vital project within the constituency.

 

She harped on the importance of investing in infrastructure that directly impacts the lives of community members

 

During the fundraising, Barr.Aida Nath  announced a cash donation of ₦1 million in support of the project, while her team coordinator, Comrade Obande Gideon, gave ₦100,000 cash on behalf of her supporters, totally ₦1.1 million.

 

The Idoma-born legal practitioner and humanitarian furthe used the occasion to formally declared her intention to contest for the Enone House of Representatives seat come 2027. 

 

She however pledged to uphold transparency, service, and dedication to the Enone people if giving the mandate, assuring the forum of her absolute commitment to development of the Federal Constituency. 

 

In response, elders and stakeholders present at the occasion offered prayers and goodwill messages, expressing their confidence in her leadership capacity and political aspirations.
