Benue deputy speaker, Lami Felicitates With Constituents On Independence Day

Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Chief Mrs. Lami Danladi Ogenyi , has felicitated with teeming constituents of Ado local government area of the State on Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary. 

 

In her Independence Day message,  Chief  Lami Ogenyi said, “Today, I join millions of Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to celebrate the 65th Independence Anniversary of our great nation. 

 

This day reminds us of our collective struggle for freedom, unity, and self-determination, as well as our continuous journey towards national greatness”.

 

“Under the leadership of Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Benue  and Nigeria have witnessed tremendous and resounding developments", Lami stated.

 

She assured that the 10th House of Assembly under the able leadership of Speaker Alfred Emberga, will continue to deliver accountable leadership, good governance, and dividends of democracy, especially to grassroots communities.

 

The Ado representatives further stated that the House would continue to prioritise legislations that have direct bearing on the lives of Ado people in particular and Benue at large.

 

The Vice Chairman of Forum of Deputy Speakers wished all Nigerians a happy Independence Anniversary.
