50th anniversary: Fed commissioner, Oche says PCC is breaking grounds in Nigeria.

The Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission in charge of Benue State, Chief James Oche has appealed to government at all levels to support the state offices of the Commission in order to maximise the better administration of the mandate of of the Commission as encapsulated.

Chief Oche noted that the Commission under the Leadership of Bashir Abubakar as Chief Commissioner was breaking new grounds and laying a consolidated foundation for unprecedented achievements. 

He stated this recently in Abuja when he participated at the Grand Finale of the Global Ombudsman Summit which was coincide  with the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the existence of the Commission in Nigeria. 

The two times Ado LG council chairman, maintained that the theme of the anniversary which is, "Effective Ombudsman Institution: Catalyst For Good Governance" and the sub themes, "Ombudsman Mission Under Democratic Governance, Alternative Dispute Resolution Panacea for Sustainable Peace and Development", was apt.

While commending the success of the event, the federal commissioner expressed optimism that, the current leadership of the Commission was committed to achieving its mandate substantially and sued for the cooperation of the members of the Public.

The event which was held at the Ladi Kwali Conference Center, Abuja Continental Hotel, drawn participants from across all walks of life and those in the diaspora.
